Harald Weinkum was born in Vienna, Austria, studied Music in Vienna, Jazz Bass in Vienna and Los Angeles and performed throughout Europe and North America.

His current CD, ÜberThree is an all 3/4 time recording featuring some of the most accomplished players in contemporary jazz/fusion, among them Mike Stern, Dave Weckl, Frank Gambale, Thomas Lang, Gerald Gradwohl, Fred Wesley, Jeff Babko, Steve Weingart and many more.

Some of Harald's career highlights include performing at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, the Montreaux Jazz festival, opening for Lenny Kravitz, playing in Lima, Peru with former Menudo singer Miguel Cancel and touring most of Europe and North America with the Celtic Rock band "Celtica Pipes Rock". Harald also played both at the NAMM show in Los Angeles as well as the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany.
